             Splash I dived in to the pool and started to swim to grab the stick. I thought  I was winning. I feel the water rushing past me. Joseph yelled, "Throw the stick." Then Dean would throw it into the water.

3)Listening to instruction and if I don't understand I will ask for help

4)Read a minimum of 12 story box this school year

5)To gain all the plants on 'Plants vs Zombies - Garden warfare' on my PS4.

The first time I meet Mittens

I first meet Mittens four weeks ago. Mum brought her in the car from Hamilton Zoo. We think that Mittens was dumped at the zoo.

Mum brought her into the house and took her down to my bedroom. She was inside a cage. This cage was blue on the top and white on the bottom. I went up to her and put my finger just below one of the rectangle holes on the cage. Mittens accidentally scratched my finger, it started to bleed. I felt like I wanted to scream. I tasted my blood as I licked the wound, but I didn't mind the taste.

Mittens began to meow, she wanted to get out of the cage. I shut the door in my room and Mum unlocked the cage and opened it. Mittens ran out of the cage and ran under my bed. Mum and Dad left while I waited for Mittens to come out.

When Mittens came out from under my bed I said "this is your new home Mittens". Mittens started to rub on my leg and purred. Mittens purrs a lot.

In this book the main character is Merek . He is a shape shifting dragon with two hearts that can change into anything. Merek want to be a knight.

He lives with his Mum and Dad. They are both shape shifting dragons. 

His friends name is Brin.  Brin is a girl who is pretending to be a boy so she can become a knight too. Brin's real name is Breena.

In this book he has to keep his secrete that he is a dragon. Brin knows the truth.

Sir Gerry is the young knights trainer. He knows a lot about weapons and he takes the class on an adventure through the back corridors of the castle.

On this adventure he encounters rats, rats and more rats.

Hi Mrs Hobbs

I have a new cat called Mittens, she was rescued from the Hamilton Zoo.

My sister Lily has a Rabbit, she has no name yet.

My favourite thing to do at home is play on my playstation (PS4)

My Mum and Dad said if I try my hardest at the weetbix TRYathlon they would pay for half a new PS4 game. It is called ARK survival evolved.

All the art I took home from last year I have put up on my walls. My favourite piece of work is the oil spill pictures and the flower I made.

Mum, Lily and I made our own dream catches. Mine has a blue frame, white string, feathers from Guinea Fowl and Peacocks and beads.

This term we  have been learning about Science - Planet Earth and Beyond.                                                                                               

Have you ever wondered why planets are round ?

The planets are round because they spin and spin until they turn in to a ball.

I made a model to show why planets are round .

My model is a planet before a planet has spun and after a planet has spun .

I enjoyed this because I liked the building . 

This picture shows why planets are round. The core pull everything in, this is called magnetic pull.

Math Reflection 17.6.2016

In maths we have been learning about numbers that come before and after. I need to know this so I can count correctly. I need to get really fast at this. 

I've been practising with big numbers like 273, the number that comes before is 272, the number that comes after is 274. And other numbers like 3,657, the number that comes before is 3,656, and the number that comes after is 3,658.

Writing 17.6.2016

I am learning when to put speech marks in my sentences. I need to learn how to do this so that when someone reads my work, they can tell when someone is speaking. An example is

"Hey Aylee look at the cold water jumping at the sides of the biscuit!" exclaimed George.

"ahh this water is freezing,"exclaimed Aylee.

In Math I have been learning about friends to 100 .                         

I need to know this because so when I am old I can count large numbers.

This is how you do it , 90's friend is 10,  they both equal 100.  40 is 60's friend they both equal 100.
